    I find these incredibly helpful. My only complaint so far is the background noise paired with the subtle "music" is too distracting and I find it very hard to listen to.

    does this 2 energy systems repeats itself for instance I start an exercise that goes maybe till 2 min and then I rest and go again does it start again by ATP and then so one or it follows what it stayed before in the energy system?

    If you have a client twice a week, just curious why wouldn’t you do one training session for upper body and the next training session for lower body?

      Because you likely won't get enough frequency for results.

    I really enjoy your videos. Super educational. But as someone who has a hard time focusing having the backgroug music just as loud or sometimes louder them you speaking it's so hard to focus and comprehend what you saying. I understand most people don't have this issue but for people who do it would just be nice if the background music was at a lower level. Thank you and keep doing these amazing videos.

    There are too many people on their phones for 5 minutes in between sets taking up time and they’ve got headphones on too so they don’t hear you. It’s rude and inconsiderate. If your hitting it hard a gym trip should be 45 muscle group with core, in and out maybe a sauna.

      Beginners need linear, then you can go undulating after their initial run through all the training phases.

      @Axiomfitnessacademy my problem when I was a trainer years ago was that I would give my beginners too much. I have such a hard time narrowing stuff down and myself am very inclined to over-train. It's one of my biggest challenges right now as I'm about to get certified is considering programming and being sure I don't overdo it.

    After 3 years in the industry I’ve come to learn that personal training still is treated like a real job. There’s no stability, benefits, or work life balance. I realize it’s really a young person’s job but definitely not one to raise a family on.

    Always great info, Thank you for posting these video's Joe. I've been freshly certified for 5 months now. I'm 56 and switching careers. It's been challenging getting certified and working another career, so I didn't get much time to practice what I've learned. So, I've been spending the 5 months going back and practicing what I've learned by training myself & keeping notes. I've also been working on BTS 1 & 2 certifications from Dr. Emily as I want to add foot to core mobility into my training for clients. Plus volunteer for scouts & White Stag leadership camp, I'm a bit overwhelmed. Personal Training is really difficult, there's a lot of small nuances to be aware of through the process of developing a client, so my hats off to you and those who are successful. All the information from Axiom are invaluable.

    What's the best way to tell the difference between daily undulating versus heavy and light days within a microcycle to facilitate recovery? Originally I was thinking see if it looks like two different training goals: 4 x 6 @ 85% and 3 x 6 @ 75% is not undulating, but rather weekly variation to facilitate recovery BUT 4 x 8 @ 75% 1RM and 3 x 3 @ 85% is undulating because that’s a "hypertrophy day" and a "power day"? Or should I go off of volume-load calculation? Like undulating could be all high volume-loads vs variation would be a high volume-load and a low volume-load? If I go this route, then my above examples are opposite.

    • @Axiomfitnessacademy
      @Axiomfitnessacademy 28 дней назад

      If the rep ranges are constantly changing, then it's probably undulating. Undulating programs train different qualities (strength, power, muscular endurance, etc.) on different days in the same training cycle while linear programs train a single quality per training cycle.

    Thank you so much for this video! I started a fit journey page on instagram for being known and sharing my progress. I also hired a personal trainer about 1.5 months before my CPT exam. It helped me tremendously! My PT has been training me to become a PT: building rapport with clients, common mistakes and muscle impairments, program design, exercise modalities, assessments... The theoretical part of the nasm course started to make much more sense. I passed the exam on the first try with an 88/100 grade! I've learned more in 1.5 months with my PT than reading the book by myself (ok, not exactly true for the medical, energy systems and nutrition parts). The practical experience gave me a better understanding overall. It’s like my brain and muscles were learning about movement science together with me 😂 Thank you for this advices and I encourage everyone to follow these steps! Your videos helped me a lot prepping for the exam. Again, thank you so much!

    I’m mauve heard that super sets and circuit training was more beneficial than a tru set. What do you think about that? Matter fact would you say at least 15 sec of rest in between each full exercise?

    • @Axiomfitnessacademy
      @Axiomfitnessacademy Месяц назад

      Unless someone is training for pure strength and nothing else, straight sets aren't the best use of time. Beyond that, using bi/tri/super sets is really client and goal dependent.
